Privacy Policy

I. General Provisions

  1. This Privacy Policy specifies how Users’ personal data is collected, processed, and stored, as necessary to provide electronic services through the website [website address] (hereinafter: the Service).
  2. The Service collects only the personal data necessary to provide and improve the services offered.
  3. Personal data collected via the Service is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR) and the Polish Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.

III. Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

Personal data is used for:

  • registering an account and verifying User identity,
  • enabling login to the Service,
  • fulfilling agreements regarding services and e-services,
  • communicating with the User (live chat, contact form, etc.),
  • sending newsletters (upon the User’s consent),
  • managing the comments system,
  • providing social services,
  • promoting the Controller’s offer,
  • marketing, remarketing, affiliation,
  • personalizing the Service for Users,
  • analytical and statistical purposes,
  • debt collection,
  • establishing and pursuing claims or defending against them.

Providing data is voluntary but necessary to conclude an agreement or use other functionalities of the Service.

IV. Types of Processed Data

The Controller may process the User’s personal data: full name, date of birth, address, email address, phone number, NIP.

V. Data Retention Period

Users’ personal data will be processed for:

  • as long as the basis is contract performance – until the limitation period for claims after its performance,
  • as long as the basis is consent – until it is withdrawn, and after withdrawal until the limitation period for claims.

In both cases, the limitation period is 6 years, and for periodic benefits and business-related claims – 3 years (unless special provisions state otherwise).

VI. Data Sharing

  1. Users’ personal data may be transferred to: entities related to the Controller, subcontractors, cooperating entities such as online payment processors, courier/postal service providers, law firms.
  2. Users’ personal data will/will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

VII. Users’ Rights

  1. Users have the right to: access their data, rectify, delete, restrict processing, transfer, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).
  2. Requests regarding the exercise of rights must be sent to [email address].
  3. The Controller shall comply with or refuse the request without undue delay, no later than within one month of receipt.
  4. Users have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe their rights and freedoms are violated (GDPR).

VIII. Cookies

  1. The Service collects information through cookies – session, persistent, and third-party.
  2. Collecting cookies supports proper Service functionality and serves statistical purposes.
  3. Users may determine the scope of cookie access to their device via browser settings.

IX. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

  1. Users’ data will not be processed in an automated way that could result in decisions concerning them.
  2. Users’ data may be profiled to adjust content and personalize offers, subject to their consent.

X. Final Provisions

  1. The Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy, without limiting Users’ rights.
  2. Information on changes will appear as a notice in the Service.
  3. Matters not covered herein are subject to the GDPR and Polish law.
